"Xin Zhan" (Chinese: Heart War) is the theme song of John Woo's 2008 epic film "Red Cliff", performed by 20 year old upstart Tibetan singer alan (Alan Dawa Dolma). The Japanese version of the song, "Shin Sen", also performed by alan, will be released in October.

With a budget of US$80 million, "Red Cliff" is the most expensive Asian movie to date. Reenacting the famous battle in ancient China that took place in Red Cliff where hundreds of ships in the Yangtze River were burned, the movie will be shown in Western countries in January 2009.

2008.09.05 The video game "Dynasty Warriors 6: Special PS2 Edition" which will be released in America in November 2008, has announced they will use this song as their theme song.
