Haha...I am biased.
I think that the older series especially in the 80's have better plot, more sword to sword or hand to hand fight scenes instead of bunches of color effects shooting around.
Not to mention the use of powerful winds when they just throw a punch or so.
I still favor most of the actors/actresses then than now...even costume wise.
Series these days focus too much on how much computer effects can be incorporated into the series and puts less emphasis on the essence of kung fu
