4 letter word game

alright here's how it works: all you have to do is simply change 1 letter in a 4 letter word that the last person had posted to make a new 4 letter word. you can rearrange the letters around, but you can not change more than 1 letter and the word has to be 4 letters long. Or you can just rearrange the 4 letter word to make a new word without changing any letter.
for example:

1st person: heat
2nd person: hear
3rd person: read
4th person: dear
....and so on

i'll start this with the word:

four

whoever post after me has to change 1 letter and can rearrange the letters around to make a new word.
