    Bank Thief Everyone?

    Here the story goes...
A few days ago, my gf's mommie was sending a check to the health insurance company, and the check was stolen. It happens because someone might got into the mailbox in front of the house and took it (the check with $450.00). The thief then took the check and raise the Pay order to: ______ and put his name on it.
By the time he went to cash out the check, Mommie's bank account didn't have enough money for him (the thief) to cash it; So he did a $450 deposite to Mom's account and later went to a different bank location and cashed it.
Last Friday, we went up to the bank and talked to the manager, they refund that $450 and we suggested by the bank to change account #. They are now investigate that person.
My dad's friend also got lost about $3,000+ and the bank refund back. And the guy who stole the money got caught later on the day that he tried to make another cash out!!!

Be carefull with your bank guys!!!

    **another funny story***

My close friend Andy. He think that he smart, I think he is (little).
Last Thursday, there was a guy calling him on his cell phone told Andy that he would offer him job. He claimed that he's calling form Star Track or something like that. The guy asked Andy to give out email so he could send him more information. Then he told Andy to do it quick, when open the email please click on the link that he sent. The link contained only IP. Andy clicked on the link and Activex pop-up popped and he clicked OK to accept. In about 3 seconds, his computer got virus!!! its called pinky-virus (not remember). Andy told that guy "I think my computer got virus" because the virus detector kept pop-up. Then the guy hang up the phone hahahaha.

Wow! That is scary. I will have to tell my family to check their bank acc. more often. Thanks for sharing, Alex.

Yes, I don't send my mail with check through the mail. Always drop off at the Post Office.
