A Ghost Of You
Prologue:
Mimi's brother died 4 years ago. Nows his soul haunts her thoughts.
Chapter 1
Mimi stood by her brother's grave in the dead of night. she stared at the headstone.
She read it again and again as if she were afraid she'd forget what it said.
"Joshua Demones, 1984-2000, A good son and a loving brother."
Mimi read aloud. She turned from the stone and began to walk up the dark cemitary road.
She glanced back once more. "You told me you'd never leave me, Josh. Just look at you now." She finally got home about 2am after stopping at her best friend Raven's house.
After her brother's death 4 years previous Mimi turned goth and no longer trusted anyone.
She opened the front door, walked in, then slammed it shut. her mother came running from the kitchen. "Where have you been young lady?!" She yelled. Mimi was half way up the steps. She didnt turn around."I went to see Josh. Im goin to bed." She climbed the rest the stairs and turned a corner and out of sight. Her mother just watcher with a worried expression on her face. "Poor kid."
Mimi opened her bedroom door but didnt go in. She walked into the next room over.
Her Brothers old room. She sat on his bed. She ran her fingers over the comforter and the pillows.She remembered coming into this room in the middle of the night and sleeping in the floor because she was scared. She stood up and walked out shutting the door behind her. She again by passed her own room, but she did glance into it as she passed. But as she did she saw something on her bed. She walked back and stood in her doorway and there sitting on her bed was her brother, Josh.
Chapter 2
Mimi stood in horror as she watched as her brother ghost disapeared right before her very eyes. She inhaled deeply and tried to run away crying but she was to scared to move.
Her legs felt like rubber and her eyes filled with tears. She finally regained her strength to move and she took off running down the steps. She tripped and fell but got right back up and ran faster. She saw her mom in the kitchen. She ran up to her and stopped. "Mom, he's...he's in....he's in my room!" Mimi said between breaths. "Who? Who's in your room, Mimi?" Her mother asked her. "Josh! He's in my room! He's back! He's a ghost mom!!! A Ghost!" she yelled crying. Her mother hugged her crying daughter.
"Mimi, you've just got your brother on the brain. Why dont you call Raven and ask if you can stay there tonight." Her mother told Mimi handing her the phone. She grabbed it, called and left. Raven and Mimi talked for awhile then Raven fell asleep while watching the Ring. Shortly after Raven went to sleep, there was a knock at the door. Mimi answered it but no one was there. She walked out onto the sidewalk and looked up at the house. And there standing Ravens window was her brother once more. Mimi screamed and ran all the way to the cemetery only to find her brothers grave had been dug up.
