This recipe is call Pleah Saiko. I'm sure everyone know what it is right.
You'll need the following ingredients.
3tbsp tuk prahoc
3 whole lime juice
3 tbsp palm sugar
2 lemon grass stalks, trimmed and finely sliced
2 shallots, peeled and finely siliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped (preferred crushed)
1 lb beef fillet, very finely sliced
1 red chilli, seeded and finely sliced
2 oz roasted peanuts, unsalted and crushed
1 small bunch of fresh cilantro, finely choped, plus extrea leaves to garnish
*note: if you want you can add mint leaves to garnish so you won't be able to taste the tuk prahoc. Also you might want to make it 2 1/2 palm sugar because it will be too sweet. If your prefer to make it sweet fine with that, but you might need to add more lime juice because its not too sour. For your beef I would prefer steak meat, because it taste better when its raw. If anything you can cook your meat a little bit til it turns a little brown then squeeze the juice out and mix it with the sauce.
1. in a bowl, beat 2 tbsp tuk prahoc with the 2 whole lime juice and 2 tbsp of the sugar, until tlhe sugar has dissolved. Add the lemon grass, shallots and garlic and mix well. Toss the sliced beef, cover and place in the refrigrerator for 1-2 hours.
2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat the remaining tuk prahoc with the juice of the third lime. Stir in the remaining sugar, until it dissolves, and put aside.
3. Put the beef slices, drained of any remaining liquid, in a clean bowl. Add the chilli, peanuts and cilantro. Toss with the dressing, garnish with cilantro leaves and serve immediately.
Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I had fun making it.
