You're probably wondering how the songs with the chipmunk's voice on Youtube are created, they're singing? Someone sings with a high pitch? Modified with the computer?
Well yes, they are modified with the computer.
Here is a step by step tutorial about how to reproduce a chipmunk's voice.
1. Get a song
2. Download audacity for free here:
[MEMBERS ONLY - REGISTER NOW...] (PC Linux and Mac version available)
3. Import the song to audacity, you can drag and drop it or go to File, Open…
4. Click on Edit, Select, All (Ctrl + A)
5. Click on Effect, Change Pitch…
6. Now here's the fun part, Select the settings same as the picture below.
7. Click on OK
And here we go, a Chipmunk song!
also if you can play around more with Change Pitch setting into the way you want, the more you play with it the more know know about it..good luck..

How to export as MP3
1. Go to the LAME encode
[MEMBERS ONLY - REGISTER NOW...].
2. Under "For Audacity on Windows", left-click on the link "libmp3lame-win-3.97.zip" and save the zip folder to anywhere on your computer.
3. When you have finished downloading the ZIP folder, unzip it and save the file lame_enc.dll file directly for encoding it is recommended to save it into your Audacity installation folder. This is normally at C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-Ins\ Once lame_enc.dll is saved to your computer:
you are good to go...
4. The first time you use the "Export as MP3" command, Audacity will ask you where lame_enc.dll is saved. just browse to the C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-Ins\ n select on the Lame_enc.dll then click ok Finish..
