Lol when you put it like thiat, I'd have to agree the martial arts in The Prodigal Son is way more realistic than that of the series. But the fact remains though, at least for me, Wing Chun is a pretty good series to watch. Although not as fascinating as the kbak kon in The Prodigal Son, there are some pretty good moments where actual Wing Chun techniques are used in this series.
Don't forget, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao are in here too, and they're the main stars of The Prodigal Son! In fact, I think they're some of the most prominent practitioners of Wing Chun, at least in the Hong Kong Movie scene. Give the series a try, you might like it!
